Hearing the cry of the poor and allowing our hearts to be moved, is a vital first step to embracing a Christian response to poverty. But God calls us to more than simply hear the cry of the poor; He calls us to respond. As children made in His image, we have God-ordained insights and abilities to conceive creative and thoughtful solutions. All we need to do is choose to respond.
Lyceum students will apply learned principles to the culturally relevant 2011 Lyceum Challenge question: What is a Christian response to poverty?
Students participating in the Lyceum Challenge will be given opportunities to:
